Meet the Team

Robbie Cape

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Robbie passionately believes everyone deserves excellent, affordable healthcare. With that in mind, he co-founded 98point6 in 2015 to harness the power of technology to improve both access and the quality of care.

He's worked in software and built teams for more than 20 years, including founding Cozi Inc., where he served as CEO from its inception until it was acquired by Time Inc. in 2014. Under Robbie’s leadership, Cozi became the number one brand in the family technology category, with more than 14 million family members in 150 countries.

He spent the first 12 years of his career at Microsoft, where he led projects that included Microsoft Money, a program he ushered to profitability. Robbie holds a BA in science and engineering from Princeton University. He lives on Mercer Island with his wife, three children and their standard poodle Gingi. He's infamous for his spicy chicken wings, an indulgence he balances with a regular CrossFit practice. His volunteer passions include Friendship Circle, a service organization that pairs children living with mental and physical challenges with typically developing teenagers.

Brad Younggren, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Brad's travels throughout Latin America while pursuing a degree in political science from UCLA inspired him to pursue a global vision of medicine in which technology helps to ensure all people receive the healthcare they need. Brad joined 98point6 in 2017 with nearly 20 years of experience as a physician, most recently serving as chief medical officer at Cue.

He previously served as chief medical officer at Shift Labs and Mobisante and  currently works as an emergency physician at EvergreenHealth. Brad has also held EvergreenHealth's post of medical director of emergency preparedness, trauma and urgent care and is currently the medical mentor at Highway1, a hardware startup accelerator in San Francisco.

Brad received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and earned both a Bronze Star and the Combat Medic Badge for his service in Iraq as a U.S. Army physician. When he's not traveling through Central America with his twin daughters or designing global health solutions, Brad enjoys yoga and cycling.

Damon Lanphear

Chief Technology Officer

Damon got his first taste of software engineering back in elementary school because of his love of writing games for the Apple II. He joined 98point6 in 2015 with more than 20 years of experience designing, building and operating software products. Damon served as vice president of engineering for Usermind and led an engineering team for Amazon’s Cloud Drive product. Other companies on his management resume include Livemocha, Medio Systems, Exbiblio and RealNetworks.

In addition to his technical chops, Damon is revered at 98point6 for regularly delivering the company’s micro-roasted, sustainably farmed coffee beans. He balances the technological focus of his day job by running an organic farm, vineyard and winery with his wife on Vashon Island. The couple loves backpacking, skiing and fishing with their two children in the mountains of the Northwest. Damon holds a BA in computer science from Hamilton College.

Geoff Nordloh

Vice President of Finance

Geoff has spent the last twenty years in senior finance and executive roles building and scaling startup companies in the United States and internationally. Prior to joining 98point6, he served as the CFO of Cosine Additive, a Houston manufacturer of large 3D printers, and spent the decade after 9/11 in Afghanistan and Central Asia, where he co-founded two companies providing U.S. military support. Geoff served as the first director of finance at SpaceX, as the CEO of a freestanding emergency center in Texas, and as an investment analyst for Vanguard Group advisor PRIMECAP. He’s a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he directed operations of communications and intelligence satellite systems.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Princeton and Stanford respectively, and completed his MBA at Stanford. Geoff’s first love is his family. He lives with his wife, four children, two dogs and two cats in Bellevue. When he can find the time, he also enjoys visiting with close friends, hiking, a good Belgian ale and traveling—particularly off-the-beaten path in destinations like Dallol. He’s also 98point6’s own polyglot, speaking Russian, German and Spanish, and knows enough Afghan Farsi to get by on the streets of Kabul.

Larry Engel

Vice President of  Clinical Operations

Larry's career in software has taken him from Wall Street to nonprofits to startups. He joined 98point6 in 2015, following his previous positions at PATH (a Seattle-based, global health non-profit), Cozi Inc., and Morgan Stanley, along with 20 years at Microsoft. He’s biked major hills across Seattle to his job at 98point6 since joining the company in 2015. Larry received his BA in psychology from Amherst College and a joint master's in public health and business administration from Columbia University. Outside of work, Larry cycles even more, paddle boards and parents both a high-schooler and a college student.

Larry is always happy to help his colleagues with practical ways to start bike commuting. He also lends his support to community organizations that ensure basic services for those in need, including BikeWorks and HopeLink. To relax, you can often find him off the grid backpacking in the Cascades.

Mike Willingham

Vice President of Regulatory and Quality

Mike likes knowing how things work. He also likes knowing how to make those things work really well. He joined 98point6 in 2016 following more than 20 years of career focus on medical device and healthcare software safety, along with security, quality and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining 98point6, Mike spent four years at Caradigm, a joint venture between Microsoft and GE providing cloud-based population health. Mike has also held executive positions at Philips Healthcare, Medtronic and Physio-Control. He's an electrical engineer with expertise in safety, reliability and quality engineering principles.

Mike has chaired international and national medical device standards committees. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi. He volunteers for the United Way of King County and is a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Washington's Biomedical Regulatory Affairs program. Mike and his wife live in Bellevue, where they raised five sons. As empty nesters, they now love traveling, especially to Europe and tropical locales.

Rob Schwietzer

Chief Product Officer

Rob brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in product development, design, customer support and operations to 98point6. He's previously worked at global companies such as Groupon, Amazon, where he led the Amazon Prime program, and McKinsey & Company. He’s also served as chief operating officer of MedBridge.

For much of his youth, Rob tried to ignore the possibility of a career in computing - despite writing a Tapper knock-off on a TI-99/4a in fifth grade. Luckily for 98point6, he got with the program and earned a bachelor's degree in computer and electrical engineering from UCLA, followed by an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Rob is also 98point6's resident soccer nerd - both he and his wife play several times a week. When they're not on the field, they're coaching the game; both their daughters play soccer. And when they're not playing or coaching soccer, they're watching it, thanks to their season tickets to the Sounders.

Samantha Bergin

Vice President of Marketing

Making life work better, easier and smarter for people is the unofficial motto of Sam’s career. Sam joined 98point6 in 2016 with nearly 20 years of experience in technology marketing and product management, customer acquisition and engagement, branding and product launches.

She spent the previous 10 years at Cozi (acquired by Time Inc. in 2014), most recently as vice president of marketing, where under her leadership, Cozi became a top 10-grossing app in both iTunes and Google Play as the leading productivity app for families. Sam's also worked in consumer electronics at Amazon, in productivity tools and medium business marketing at Microsoft, and as an international product manager at Visio Corporation. She holds a BA in business from the University of Maryland and an MBA in marketing from Wake Forest University. Sam is originally from Brazil and is a competitive equestrian in the sport of three-day eventing, known as the triathlon of riding. She and her husband live in the countryside with several horses and dogs.

Tim Kollas

Chief Commercial Officer

You can likely thank Tim's degree in speech communication for his career in building first-class sales organizations. He joined 98point6 in 2017 with more than 20 years of sales and leadership in healthcare software, group insurance and the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining 98point6, Tim spent two years leading sales and marketing at Colibrium, where his team provided complex sales platforms to insurance carriers focused on the individual and group markets. He also held sales and leadership positions at Mercer, UnitedHealthcare and AstraZeneca.

Tim earned his bachelor's degree from Oregon State University and lives in Bellevue with his wife and their two children. Tim loves spending as much time with his wife and kids as possible. When he's not working,  working out or eating great food, he loves to golf or ski as much as he can, depending on the season.

Tori Lallemont, JD, MPH

Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Counsel

Tori joined 98point6 in 2015 after CEO Robbie Cape promised her an adventure. She brings with her more than nine years of legal expertise in all aspects of healthcare privacy, FDA regulations and clinical trials. Tori's also a specialist regarding pharmaceutical development and devices and pediatric research.

Tori earned her law degree from the University of Washington, along with a master's degree in public health. In her previous positions, Tori served as a regulatory attorney for Quorum Review IRB, as counsel for Western IRB, and as a regulatory analyst for the Seattle Children’s Hospital IRB. She and her family, including a new baby son, live in Seattle. Tori is working on an authentic period restoration of her 1927 Dutch Colonial home and she loves to garden, especially with bulbs of all sorts.
