Robbie co-founded 98point6 in February 2015 and brings over 20 years of experience designing software, building teams, and managing software businesses. Prior to 98point6, Robbie founded Cozi Inc. and was its CEO from inception until it was acquired by Time Inc. in 2014. Under Robbie’s leadership, Cozi became the #1 brand in the “family technology” space with over 14 million family members in 150 countries across web and mobile platforms. The first 12 years of Robbie's career were spent at Microsoft, where the majority of his experience was as a Program Manager, a Product Unit Manager, and the General Manager of the Microsoft Money business. Robbie ushered Microsoft Money to profitability and put the business on the map as a formidable competitor to Intuit's Quicken. Robbie holds a BA in Science and Engineering from Princeton University. He lives in the suburbs of Seattle with his wife and their three children.
Chief Technology Officer
Damon joined 98point6 in July 2015 and brings more than 20 years of experience designing, building, and operating software products to meet diverse business goals. Prior to 98point6, he ran the engineering group as Vice President of Engineering for Usermind, an early-stage venture-backed company, and led the services engineering team for Amazon’s Cloud Drive product. Damon’s experience prior to Amazon focused on leading engineering at the executive level for several early and mid-stage companies where he played a central role in designing and building key intellectual property. These companies include: Livemocha, which was acquired by Rosetta Stone; Medio Systems, which was acquired by Nokia; and Exbiblio, the intellectual property of which was acquired by Google. Before building up his experience in early-stage companies, Damon spent 7 years at RealNetworks as a software engineer and eventually working in the office of the CTO as the Director of Systems Research. Damon started his career at the Eastman Kodak Company building software tools for industrial quality control in 1993. He received a BA in Computer Science from Hamilton College and lives on Vashon Island with his wife and their two children.
Dr. Brad Younggren
Chief Medical Officer
Brad joined 98point6 in January 2017 and brings nearly 20 years of experience as a physician and most recently served as Chief Medical Officer at Cue. Prior to that, Brad was the Chief Medical Officer at Shift Labs and Mobisante. Dr. Younggren has been an Emergency Physician at EvergreenHealth for nearly a decade where he served as the Medical Director of Emergency Preparedness, Trauma, and Urgent Care. He is also the medical mentor at Highway1 (hardware startup accelerator in San Francisco, CA). Brad is a former United States Army physician who earned a Bronze Star and the Combat Medic Badge for his service in Iraq. He received his MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA.
Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Counsel
Tori joined 98point6 in July 2015 and brings seven years of experience providing legal counsel to organizations in matters pertaining to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) regulations. Tori is an expert in human subjects research including development of new drugs and devices, federally funded research, and pediatric research. Tori received her Juris Doctor from University of Washington in 2008, and was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) in the fall of 2008. Tori also earned a Masters in Public Health from the University of Washington in 2007. Prior to joining 98point6, Tori worked as Regulatory Attorney for Quorum Review IRB, Regulatory Counsel for Western IRB, and as Regulatory Analyst for the IRB at Seattle Children’s Hospital. During law school, she worked for Marler Clark, LLP, PS, the Science and Management of Addictions Foundation, and Northwest Justice Project. She has also served as a pro bono attorney for Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.
Chief Product Officer
Rob joined 98point6 in February 2017 and brings more than 20 years of e-commerce experience, including business strategy, general management, and building global organizations covering product, design, engineering, marketing, and operations. Before 98point6, Rob was the Chief Operating Officer at MedBridge, a Senior Vice President at Groupon, and held numerous positions at Amazon ranging from Corporate Finance to General Manager of the Video Games and Software businesses in Germany to leading the Amazon Prime program. Rob holds an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management and a BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles.
Vice President of Operations
Larry joined 98point6 in September 2015 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the software industry, including work in the non-profit, startup, Microsoft, and Wall Street communities. Larry’s experience includes developing line of business applications for Morgan Stanley, 20 years of Program and General Management in product at Microsoft, Chief Product Officer at Cozi Inc., and systems analysis for PATH (a Seattle-based global health non-profit). Larry received a BA in Psychology from Amherst College and a joint Masters in Public Health/MBA from Columbia University. Outside of work Larry is an avid cyclist, paddle boarder, and father of both a high-school student and a college student.
Chief Financial Officer
Laurie joined 98point6 in May 2016 and brings over two decades of finance, tax, and operations experience to the team. Prior to joining 98point6, Laurie acted as CFO for VoloMetrix, Visible Technologies, and Likewise Software where she oversaw all finance, HR, legal, and M&A activities. She has also acted in multiple senior-level financial positions in startup and enterprise organizations, including McCaw Cellular’s growth and acquisition by AT&T Wireless. Laurie’s expertise in finance and operations has been applied to a broad range of vital business activities including strategic planning, shareholder relations, sales operations, and corporate financing. Laurie received an MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Chief HR Business Development Officer
Steven joined 98point6 in September 2015 and is an accomplished Human Resources Executive who brings more than 25 years of experience in numerous industries, including government, manufacturing, retail, print, and healthcare. Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Shared Services at Seattle Children's, he led the Human Resource, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Home Care teams. As a member of the CEO’s executive team, Steven led efforts with succession planning, strategic planning, benefits utilization and management, executive compensation, process improvement, and in-house coaching to the senior leadership team. Prior to Seattle Children's, Steven was Vice President of Human Resources at Starbucks Coffee Company, Director of Human Resources at Macromedia, Manager of Human Resources/Process Improvement at Nabisco Biscuit Corporation, and Manager of Human Resource/TQM at Harris Corporation. Steven holds an MBA in General Business and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida Tech, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business from Hofstra University. Interests include financial planning and creating stock portfolios, rooting for Seattle and Boston sports teams, and traveling to warm and sunny locations. Steven enjoys spending quality time with his family and lives in the suburbs of Seattle with his wife and their two children.
Vice President of Marketing
Sam joined 98point6 in June 2016 and brings nearly 20 years of technology marketing experience with a focus on customer acquisition, user engagement, product management, and product launches to the team. Prior to joining 98point6, Sam spent 10 years at Cozi (acquired by Time Inc. in 2014) most recently as Vice President of Marketing. Under her leadership, Cozi grew to become a top 10-grossing app in iTunes/Google Play and the leading productivity app for families with a 4.5 app store rating and more than 15 million registered members. Prior to Cozi, Sam worked on the consumer electronics business at Amazon, in productivity tools and medium-business marketing at Microsoft, and was an international product manager at Visio Corporation. Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Marketing from Wake Forest University. Sam is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is a competitive three-day eventer (equestrian sport). She and her husband live in the suburbs of Seattle.
Vice President of Regulatory and Quality
Mike joined 98point6 in October 2016 and brings over 20 years of healthcare technology experience with a focus on medical device and healthcare software safety, security, quality and regulatory compliance. He is responsible for the company's management systems for quality, information security, and clinical studies. Prior to joining 98point6, Mike spent four years at Caradigm, a 50/50 joint venture between Microsoft and GE, providing cloud-based population health and identity and access management products. Mike also held numerous executive positions at Philips Healthcare, Medtronic, and Physio-Control. Mike is an engineer with expertise in safety, reliability, and quality engineering principles. He has chaired international (IEC) and national (AAMI) medical device standards committees and has been an active member of several healthcare industry groups. He received his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. He volunteers for the United Way of King County and is a frequent guest lecturer for the University of Washington's Master's in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs program. Mike and his wife live in Bellevue and have five sons.
Chief Commercial Officer
Tim joined 98point6 in January 2017 and brings over 20 years of sales and leadership experience in healthcare software, group insurance, and the pharmaceutical industry. In his role, Tim will focus on business development, client acquisition and building out a first-class sales organization. Prior to joining 98point6, Tim spent two years leading sales and marketing at Colibrium, a portfolio company of HGS, providing complex sales platforms to insurance carriers focused on the individual and group markets. He also held sales and leadership positions at Mercer, UnitedHealthcare, and AstraZeneca. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Oregon State University. Tim and his wife live in Bellevue with their two children.
