Why did you become a doctor?
I loved the sciences and had a real competency for them, but I also really enjoyed working with people. I served on a mission trip in a very poor community in high school and knew when I returned that I wanted to offer my services as a physician.

Where is your perfect vacation?
A quiet cabin overlooking a glacial lake and surrounded by snowy evergreen trees - all with access to skiing, of course!

Why did you become a doctor?
I wanted to find a job with purpose where I constantly was working with people. While volunteering at a local hospital when I was 19 years old, I realized that being a physician was exactly what I was looking for. To this day, I feel like my service to the community makes a constant difference.

What is your most treasured possession?
My father gave me a watch for my undergraduate graduation. He has never purchased valuable possessions for himself, only for others. His selflessness has always been an example that I want to strive for.

Why did you become a doctor?
I come from a family of physicians and from a very early age I knew that I wanted to do the same when I grew up. I have always had an inquisitive mind and I love problem solving. I also enjoy working with people, and medicine marries these interests very well.

Where is your perfect vacation?
Anywhere warm with sand and water!
